✨Unfurnished room available in a two bedroom ground floor suite near Royal Oak Station ✨

The room itself can fit a twin or queen bed, it has a small closet, and is low lit and quiet. The house itself is a super cute ground level with a shared bath (shower/tub) and cozy kitchen/living space. The ceilings in the living room are nice and tall so it feels a lot more open than a typical basement suit, instead of a tv I have a projector so it’s the perfect space for chilling and watching movies, or just hanging out. The house has a gorgeous garden out front (taken care of by the upstairs neighbours) and is in a very quiet and suburban area. The Royal Oak skytrain station is roughly a 10-15 minute walk away, with small buses that run to Metrotown (30 minute walk) and Edmonds. There are a handful of small shops just across the street that include a Buy Lows, Anytime Fitness, Subway, bubble tea, gas station, and a couple of small restaurants. But if you are wanting more options Metrotown is a short stop away, and there is also the marine drive shopping complex within driving/transit distance. Utilities are included in the rent, as well as wifi but the connection can be hit or miss sometimes. There is unfortunately no washing/drying in the suite itself, but there is a laundromat not even a 3 minute walk away that is ran by a very friendly couple. Lastly, the apartment is technically pet friendly (I originally planned to move in with my dog but she unfortunately passed just after we moved in), but depending on the pet I will double check with the landlord (small dogs are for sure okay, larger dogs or cats I may need to ask).

So full disclosure with my partner moving out i’m going to be doing a bit of redecorating over the next two months. I plan on maybe buying some new furniture, decorating a bit more, and getting plants for the windowsill as my last batch didn’t survive 😅✌️🍃so the space is gonna be going through some changes but would be super open to shared decorating of the common space as I wanna make it feel like a fun and neutral space.

I’m chill, down to earth, clean, a bit of a goof, and definitely prefer a quiet movie night in over partying.
