This is a newly renovated home tucked away in a beautiful serene neighborhood with an excellent walk score. We have views of the mountain and close to the ocean and burnaby lake, surrounded by nature trails and shopping plaza. Transportation is a close walk accessible to downtown and SFU by one bus. Walkable and close to skytrain as well. The room is also renovated, and is the largest room downstairs. You have a shared washroom with another student and your own kitchen downstairs. You have access to your own kitchen and refridgerator. The entire downstairs is fully furnished with a big screen T.V. and internet all provided for. You have your own sanctuary to come home to. We have a beautiful patio and yard filled with fruit trees and fresh vegetables. We do provide meal plans if you are interested. We cook healthy meals, preferably fresh organic fruit and vegetables in our garden.

We are a quiet working professional couple with a toddler and a cat. We are currently hosting another international female Highschool student from Taiwan. We are very personable and outgoing. We have been hosting international students for 6 years now. We value health, wellness, exercise, peace and quiet. Our home is busy with a young toddler. We enjoy experimenting with new cuisines and hence love hosting international students, as they share their cultures and customs with us. Our hobbies are cooking, hiking, family board games, exploring city events, pickleball and the gym. As a Teacher, I value my summer’s off and travelling with my family. I am a committed lifelong learner and also commited to building relationships.
