As my lovely roommate moves back to France at the end of July, I am looking for a roommate for a two-bedroom apartment in a cozy neighbourhood within the Plateau! Move in for August for a one-year lease.

About the neighbourhood:

• Between Saint Joseph Blvd & Mont Royal
• 4 minute walk to Saint Laurent & 5 minute walk to Saint Denis!
• 8 minute walk to Station Laurier or 11 minute walk to Station Mont Royal
• Quiet road with parks all around & Bixi bikes minutes away

About the apartment:

• 2 bedroom apartment on the second floor of a three-story building
• VERY spacious apartment with a lovely, bright kitchen & living room
• This apartment is furnished but the room itself is unfurnished for whatever you would like :)
• The two rooms are on opposing sides of the apartment with the kitchen & bathroom between them
• This is a queer friendly, inclusive apartment, no meanies!!

What I’m looking for in a roommate:

• Someone woman-identifying who is open-minded and respectful of personal space, ideally between ages 23-27
• Someone who is looking to create a calm, inviting environment where we have each other’s backs at all times
• Someone who enjoys exploring and going around the city, trying out good food and enjoying the joys of this city!
• Someone NOT allergic to cats! I have two little baby cats.
• Someone CLEAN! This means respecting communal spaces and ensuring the kitchen is always well-kept (respect the kitchen, she provides us food!!)
• Someone unafraid to speak on money. We share expenses, and are open on when one owes the other money

• I go by she/her pronouns, and am 23 years-old
• I’m a proposal writer in a software company, work two days from home, the rest in office
• I’m an avid film watcher who spends way too much of her monthly income in theatres
• I love love love to cook, if I’m at home in the evening, I am always cooking up some meal (would love to live with someone who can be a guinea pig to my woes)
• I’m not much of a party person but I love to host a good dinner with an abundance of food that will never be finished
