About the room
Private master bedroom with full private washroom, double door closet, window, and shared full kitchen with dishwasher is available to sublet immediately. I’m flexible with move-in dates. Internet, great air conditioning, heat, and hydro are all included in price. 24 hour laundry room (I will provide your key and loadable laundry card) is in a unit just a few houses north. Very short bus ride or a roughly 10 minute walk to subway station on the Bloor line. A few steps to northbound bus stop on our side of the street, southbound bus stop nearly directly across the street, eastbound and westbound busses available on the two streets just north and south, (as close as they could be) and we’re located right in the middle of those. Apartment has always been clean and pest free. There’s a huge, beautiful park less than a block away if you do have a dog, enjoy walks among trees, or enjoy any other outdoor activities suited for a large park with different amenities. There’s also a grocery store, pharmacy, convenience store, and coffee shop all right on the corners roughly a block south. Literally right across the street from me, on a small side street, there is a Balzac’s cafe; next to the cafe, there is a truly gorgeous looking bar, yet it has very reasonable prices, and a very kind owner, as well as other great staff. Just beyond the bar, there is a children’s park and splash pad, but I will not be subletting the room to both a parent/s and a child to share. (Seeking one adult occupant only.) There are many major banks located very close, as well as a dollar store and highly rated unisex hair salon roughly two short blocks south of here. Many great restaurants nearby as well.
About the roomies
My four year old has their own room, and is currently only living here part-time, but they will return here full-time in the future. My space is the living room, where my toddler’s adorable bunny resides in the largest cage I could find. Ika, (rabbit) roams free in the long hallway with a gate up and my supervision for roughly 10-15 minutes at a time on a regular basis. He is very friendly, loves getting pets and cuddles, and has even sniffed dogs right next to his cage without any observable fear, but I’m not willing to risk interactions with any larger animals while he’s out of his cage—no matter how gentle they are (intend to be). This room is available to sublet to a cis-gendered gay male or a trans female and I will be happy to explain my very important reasons for that preference to anyone who fits either of those descriptions. Please don’t hesitate to contact me as soon as you’re interested because I’m eager to meet potential new roommates!
