Morgan and Chiara's room

Total monthly cost about 750 CAD (Rent 665; internet 35; utilities ~30 to 50 monthly). The lease is monthly and requires a two-month’s notice for moving out. We are open to both short-term and long-term leases!

Our house is split into two private apartments: we are in the second floor walk-up (with one other tenant living in the private apartment below us). Our house gets a lot of light and is located right by the lively bars, shops, and activities of James St N. We have free on-site laundry for the unit located on the third floor, which you will otherwise have all to yourself! The attic is very, very spacious and the ceilings are rather high. The room is still probably better-suited to a shorter person because most of the walls are slanted inwards.

Our landlords are a super chill young couple. They are very responsive, helpful, and respectful of our space. We have lived here for 2 years now and haven’t ever had issues with them.

You will be living with Chiara and Morgan, as well as our cat Peach! :3

Chiara (she/her) is an MA Philosophy student at McMaster University! She is 24, and loves to cook/bake, read, crochet, thrift, and adventure downtown.

Morgan (they/them) is an Undergrad Pre-Law/Philosophy student at McMaster University! They are 24, and love to play video games, read, make art, and listen to music.

Both of us smoke cannabis regularly/drink occasionally and would prefer a roommate who is okay with that (or even join in if they are comfortable!) :)

Peach is a lazy girl who loves attention and will sometimes speak back to you if you meow at her!! She is a big and sweet lady (and she might let herself into your room, so our roomie must be pet-friendly <3). We would prefer our roommate moving in to not bring any pets, but are potentially open to a cat if we discuss it and it feels like the right fit.
