o I have a comfortably furnished (down to the last detail) ground floor suite (yeah! no stairs, no elevators!!) in the VERY quiet and safe Fairfield area close to Cook St. Village (a coveted area of Victoria) which has all the shops, cafés and restaurants one would look for in a “quaint village”. It’s a 10 minute walk to the ocean or to Beaconhill Park and a 20 minute walk to downtown.

o YOUR ROOM: …..102 sq. feet, roomy and cozy ..…Top quality, very comfortable bed ..…Bed linens, blankets, pillows, towels (all clean, clean, clean) .….Chest of drawers, clothes hangers ..…Desk, lamps, easy chair, TV, HDMI cord .….Lots of shelving and storage space

o SHARED COMMON SPACE: ..…Large kitchen with lots of appliances and counter space to a foodie’s delight …..Laundry area and main bathroom (**note: these are not shared when you are home) ..…Patio & barbecue in a very quiet and private yard ..…Garden

o What makes this roomie situation rather unique for introverts??? When you want your own space, you can close a hallway door which then divides my suite into TWO separate areas:

(1) YOUR SPACE: Becomes completely private & self-contained, consisting of …(a) Your bedroom …(b) Your kitchenette (fully functional with fridge, electric skillet, hot plate, microwave, toaster oven, toaster, air fryer, blender, table, dishes, pots & pans, utensils, and other practical kitchen details) …(c) Main bathroom (with deep soaker tub and red light therapy unit) …(d) Laundry …(e) Private entrance

(2) MY SPACE: ..…Kitchen ..…Living room ..…My bedroom

** Note: Only when you are NOT HOME, will I then access laundry and bathtub (see photo of floor plan).

o So…..this “fusion solution” permits your enjoyment of the privacy of a studio-like space as well as the benefits of sharing common areas with a roomie.

o BONUS: I at times go south as a “snow bird”. So you would actually have access to the ENTIRE SUITE by yourself during that time.

o Hummmm….try to find a furnished studio suite for $950 in Victoria! Or better yet (when I’m away), try to find a furnished whole apartment with patio & yard for $950!

o Parking available on very quiet, very safe, residential street (Oscar St. near Moss St.)

o HEIGHT RESTRICTIONS: Ceiling height is 6’ 3”. A duct in the hallway is just over 5’8”

o No pets, no smoking, no parties and no overnight guests.

I am always ready for a good laugh and interesting wide-ranging conversations. I value friendly and caring relationships, focused on finding win/win solutions. I’m really respectful of another roomie’s need for privacy as much as I value mine.

I am looking for an honourable, honest, respectful and dependable roomie.

A regular and full-time daytime work routine away from home is essential.

I am not looking for short term arrangements of a few months.
