About the room
This is not a room for rent it is a home to share.
McMaster University is about 5 minutes by bus. Walking distance to University Plaza and grocery store. This building sits on the border with Dundas (Hamilton side) and overlooks Dundas Valley Conservation. Balcony faces the valley so the view is green and teaming with wild life. Rail trail is just a quick walk away and there are trails close by that run through the valley if you like nature and hiking.
The building itself is clean, well maintained, and secure.
The apartment consists of three bedrooms, the main bedroom includes ensuite bathroom and plenty of closet space. Bedroom is furnished with queen size bed, two bedside tables (two drawers in each), and dresser (five drawers). Safe spaces agreement to be reviewed, open to suggested changes.
About the roomies
I’m a Dad and my son lives with me half time. He’s 15, super bright kid, quiet and respectful. He aspires to be a historian, professor and politician so he spends loads of time in his room learning. We’re both vegetarian but have no issue at all with meat in the kitchen.
Our flatmate Georgie is finishing their master’s and moving back to the UK in September, we’re gonna miss them.
I don’t have parties (but don’t mind if you do once in a while), and am generally pretty quiet unless I’m listening to my cleaning playlist or watching something. Self-aware and respectful of common spaces and privacy. My son and I are LGBTQ+ allies, we embrace feminist perspectives, recently marched for Gaza, and don’t tolerate discrimination.
I’m chill and light hearted. Not so serious as I make myself sound these values are just important to me.
Very much hoping to find someone to share this home with, I don’t think of this space as mine with a room I rent.
