About the room
The room is available on July 1st, but we could arrange an early arrival in June or even before. Plus, you would have the flat on your own during summer as I’ll not be in town for most of it, but we would still divide the payment. You have the possibility of buying the furniture in the room from the current tenant (if you wanna bring your own stuff, that’s fine too!) The house is furnished as well, but you wouldn’t need to pay anything for the rest of things -we both live here, we both use it 🙂-. Feel welcome to bring your stuff and make it our home!
It is a sunny apartment with stunning views to Walterdale Bridge, downtown and River Valley. All the windows and balcony are west oriented, giving incredible sunsets every day.
Less than a 5min walk from Whyte Av and very well connected to downtown and University with bus stops just across our street (99 st). Water and heating are included in the price.
Possibility of indoor parking for 70$, which comes very handy for our cold snowy winters, plus there is a free outdoor parking slot for residents.
The price also includes a fully equipped gym.
The flat has 2 bedrooms; the one shown is the one that is available with all the furniture.
Overall expenses (the amounts shown is what ONE PERSON is paying): -Apartment (heating and water included) $839
-Indoor parking(if you want to take it) $70
-Electricity $20ish each (some months a couple of bucks cheaper; some months a couple of bucks more expensive)
-Internet $22 each (I want to find a better deal for August)
-Home Insurance 13,29 each (I want to find a better deal for August)
About the roomies
I am a Spanish Visiting teacher who’s currently living with another Spanish girl, but she’s going back home and her room is free in July.
I am an organised and clean guy who likes keeping the apartment neat and tidy. I love listening to music and I play the guitar and sing. I also love sports and if you like snowboarding I would be very happy we could share trips to the mountain next year! Gardening, reading and cooking are other things that I really enjoy doing.
Respecting my roomie is essential for me, so if there’s something bothering any of us, I’m always open to speak and come to terms to make living together easier.
I’m very independent, but if we have similar hobbies and get along it would be cool to do things together.
