Recently renovated, this private bedroom is located within a large corner-property house in a quiet neighbourhood. The house is surrounded by mature trees, gardens and a fenced backyard for privacy. It’s a 28 min walk to U of G / a 20 min via bus / or a 5 min drive. Enjoy your own large furnished basement bedroom (14’x13’) with a double bed, a large oak desk, numerous bookshelves, a closet, a wardrobe, and a sunny window every morning. You have your own 3pc bathroom right next to your bedroom. Please note: Shared space consists of the basement rec room, as well as the 1st floor living room, dining room, music room (with a piano) and the fully equipped kitchen. The 2nd floor is private. There is only one entrance, which is through the main door, and down the stairs just off the kitchen. Sliding glass doors lead to a large 2 level deck with a charcoal barbecue. * Your rental would include the furnished bedroom (bring your own linens), all utilities, Wi-fi and a parking spot in the driveway. Weekly / biweekly cleaning can be arranged at an additional cost.

I’m a retired teacher and mother of 4. My youngest daughter is now away at college in Sarnia. She comes home on some weekends and holidays. Ideally, I’m looking for a mature professional or a student who is respectful of privacy and shared space. Someone that is clean, and doesn’t mind a mostly quiet home where they can relax at the end of a long day. Non-smokers only please. No pets. This is a single occupancy rental only.
