2 bed 2 bath apartment in a highrise building near commonwealth stadium and the river valley, to be shared with one other person and a cat. (please note that most of the photos were taken when i was first moving in almost 2 years ago so my current furniture/belongings are not shown - you would only be responsible for furnishing your own bedroom and bathroom; the rest of the apartment pretty much has everything.) the unit has in-suite laundry, air conditioning installed, a large balcony with a propane barbecue, a beautiful view of the city, lots of natural sunlight, and an updated kitchen with a dishwasher and pantry. the location is very convenient for taking transit or walks in the river valley. the building also has a gym on the second floor for residents and underground parking is available for an extra monthly fee. the exact amount for your half of the rent will depend on if you have pets, need a parking stall, etc., but would likely be in the $900-$1000 range. however since i have the master bedroom i am willing to discuss rent price for the right person. heat and water are included in the base rent, while internet and electricity are separate; electricity especially varies month-to-month depending on AC usage. rent is also going to be increased upon lease renewal September 1st

a bit about me: mid-20s, queer, student at macewan, work multiple part time jobs. i have a very sweet and friendly 4-year-old spayed cat (open to more pets but she is usually scared of other animals so patience and understanding while adjusting would be necessary). i’m fairly quiet and clean and tend to keep to myself but would ideally like to be friends with my roommate, so someone who’s into similar music, tv/movies, or other general interests as me would be a plus. I’m totally cool with you having people over as long as you’re respectful, communicative, and clean up after yourselves :) Igbtq+ and 420 friendly
