About the room
Room available in a 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom apartment located in South Vancouver (Marine Dr) for a FEMALE tenant (late 20s/early 30s), with a move-in date of April 1st.
The building is relatively new (~2/3 years) and offers modern amenities. The unit includes key fob access, central AC, heating, dishwasher, gas stove, in-suite laundry, microwave, fridge, oven, storage unit, and covered balcony (amazing sunset views!!). Sound proof huge windows ensure abundant natural light.
The room is unfurnished, and while the bathroom will technically be shared, it will likely only be with occasional guests, as I have my own. The bathroom you will be using has a bath tub (unlike the bathroom shown in the photos).
COSTS: Rent is $1450 per month Hydro ~$20 per month (paid every other month) Internet (In the process of setting up, but aiming for max $40 per month) No move-in fees ($500 refundable security deposit required to book elevator for move in) Deposit $725 + $100 fob and key deposit ($825 total)
This is a non-smoking building, and the owner does not allow pets.

Please note that parking is not available but can be arranged by renting from another resident.
The new tenant will need to be approved by the owner of the condo. A good, qualified tenant needs to meet the basic requirements as follows:
- Adequate steady income to pay for the rent and other living expenses on time.
- Good current credit history and scores.
- Past and current good references from the applicant’s landlord.

I’m a 28-year-old female seeking another female roommate. I’m a makeup artist and lash and brow technician, with some part-time digital marketing work from home. I moved to Vancouver in September from Winnipeg, but I have a good group of friends already. I’m also passionate about traveling and love sharing travel stories. Personality-wise, I consider myself somewhere between an extrovert and an introvert. I’m equally comfortable enjoying a night out or a cozy night in.
Ideally, I’d like a female roommate in their late 20s to mid-30s who is a working professional and shares similar interests and with whom I can build a friendship.
