About me. Kids are out of the nest and the house feels empty. I’m an editor, author, and creative writing teacher; I also work in film. The separate suite downstairs is rented by my daughter - she is 21 – and her friend. I’m tidy and quiet. We are non-drinking (except on special occasions) and non-smoking. The other roomie is a student attending Royal Roads and working part time.
