About the room
SHORT TERM RENTAL (December)
The house is located near Dufferin station along Bloor and the green line. Many local shops, restaurants, bars, drugstores, and hospitals are nearby. A five-minute walk from Lansdowne Station and a two minute walk to the nearest bus stations. There is laundry across the street and occasional street parking subject to traffic times. Once again, I would love someone who is kind, organized, and respectful. As it is located downtown, someone who doesn’t mind the noise from cars, sirens etc., would be ideal. If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out. Also, tell me about yourself, your hobbies, etc.!
The Lansdowne and Bloor neighborhood in Toronto is part of the city’s west end. This area is known for its diverse and vibrant community, offering a mix of residential and commercial spaces.
Lansdowne and Bloor is characterized by a blend of residential housing, including both houses and apartment buildings. The neighborhood reflects the multicultural nature of Toronto, with a variety of shops, restaurants, and cultural amenities that cater to a diverse population. A popular site is the Value Village if you enjoy thrifting, along with the many other thrift stores along Bloor. You can also enjoy many eats in the area- some personal favourites are Shaker’s Club and Sugo.
The nearby Dufferin Mall provides shopping options, and the area is well-connected by public transportation, including the Bloor-Danforth subway line. The neighborhood has seen some revitalization efforts in recent years, contributing to its appeal.
