30 min by TTC to York University! One private room, single occupancy, available NOW in our home (Dufferin and Steeles Ave. West closest intersection, a 10 minute walk from our home). Same corner has buses to Finch Subway or Sheppard West Subway stations (approx. 25 minute trip) from where one can take the trains to anywhere in Toronto serviced by the TTC. Rent is $1300/month incl. gas heat, hydro, water, wifi, bed, mattress, pillow, beddings, towels, desk, chair, lamp. Shared bath (we provide toilet paper), laundry (we provide detergent). If you’re not fussy we also let you share our evening meal (no extra charge). If you don’t arrive in time for supper at 5 pm, dinner will be in the microwave. Rental term 1year/12 months or flexible (month to month). Before move-in, submit first and last month rents +$500 deposit = $3100 in certified funds (deposit refundable at end of lease if no damage to room). Credit report and letter of employment required. 10 postdated cheques or e-transfer of monthly rent to landlord’s account for rest of term. No smoking, drugs, pets, overnight visitors, partying. Just bring your suitcase, move in, and relax. Parking available on my driveway.
