About the room
I am looking to fill the larger bedroom in this space as I am moving to a one-bedroom apartment and am looking for someone to take over my room and join my wonderful roommate in this home :) This is an 2SLGBTQ+ and BIPOC friendly space. The bedroom has a closet and gets good light, there is exposed brick on one wall running through the entry way to the hallway. It is a short walk (5-10 mins, depending how fast you walk!) to Jane station, situated in Bloor West Village and within walking distance of the Junction and High Park.
The negatives of the apartment is there is no dishwasher and there is no dryer. There is a combo washing machine/dryer in the closet this bedroom that is being rented. I have lived here nearly 2.5 years and this has never been an issue between me and my roommate. There is also a laundromat a one minute walk away, though I have not used it.
Parking: unfortunately no more parking spots are available. There is space to park in front of the house on the street, but parking is restricted between Mon-Fri 7-9 Am and 4-6 PM
Accessibility: The apartment is up a flight of stairs as it is on the top floor of the building. There is also a flight of stairs upon entering the apartment.
If you are interested, please message me with information about yourself, for example your age, typical routine, interests and what you look for in a roommate. I am happy to answer any questions and set up a viewing/chat with the current roomie who will be living with you.
About the roomies
I am the roommate who is moving out helping my current roomie find a new tenant!
Current roomie: Her name is Chaya, she is 29 years old, studies during the week and typically is not home on weekends (she works at a family restaurant out of town and usually stays there Friday and Saturday nights, so on the weekends you will typically have the place to yourself). Chaya is organized, friendly, bubbly, and easy to be around. She loves watching reality tv, working out from time to time, and is a huge foodie.
