Furnished, MODERN, with concrete walls, exposed ceiling pipes, open spaces, contemporary lighting and furnishings, 2 bedrooms, 2 washrooms, and a den in the basement. Very unique building, walking distance to downtown, parking.

in-fill in Bridgeland, walking distance to downtown, 1 bedroom in a bright basement suite with large windows and extra high ceilings for rent, 3 min from downtown. Shared bathroom.

You are sharing the suite with a male. It’s important that you work outside or attend school during the day, since I work from home during the day. The suite is not large enough for couples. Overnight guests are not permitted.

It has a queen-size bed, with a comfortable, firm, mattress, with sheets, blankets and comforter. It has built-in lighting, lamp, curtains, a desk and chair, a flat screen tv to use (if needed) with your laptop to watch the internet. There is a closet. Includes in-suite laundry and kitchen. The suite comes with its own lock and key.

The kitchen has dishes, pots, pans, cutlery, microwave, stove elements, oven, refrigerator, and cupboard space for your groceries. There is no smoking and no pets in the home. You may smoke outside as long as you do not dispose of cigarette butts in the yard or around the house.

The rent includes all utilities and high speed internet, but cable television is not provided.

Buses are located 2 blocks away. You get your own keys, and we both sign an agreement. I have the landlord’s approval to sublet.

There are lots of restaurants and cafes within walking distance and a grocery store.

I am looking for a temporary renter who is visiting Calgary, or looking for a more permanent or longer term home. The renter must clean up after himself, and is respectful of property.

A driver’s license or government ID is required. I am a professional male in my 40s. Two references are needed.

I require a responsible, very clean, mature adult, who I can trust while I am away for up to two weeks in August and September. You will have the suite to yourself for two weeks, in week 2 and 3 of 4 weeks. I will show you where to find everything, give you a manual for cleaning and maintaining the suite. There are other people living in the house who rent bedrooms on the second floor. There is a male and female couple from Europe who are learning to speak English, and a young male who works all the time. You will rarely see them due to their work schedules. They are mature and responsible. You are responsible for the security of the suite, ensuring that all windows and doors are locked and closed before you leave the apartment and house. Free parking is half a block away in front of the school. I tend to be an introvert, and expect that you will be able to take care of your own needs. Because I have the suite to myself during the day, when you come back in the evening I will give you the evening from 5pm to 9pm to have the suite to yourself.
