1 room for rent Nov.1st in upper floor of house with plenty of light. No pets allowed(except the current pet parrot I have). No drinking allowed. Preferably no smokers. The house is a 5 minute walk to the Dalhousie train station and a 15 minute bike ride to the University of Calgary campus. Walking distance to a grocery store. The room shares a bathroom with two others and the kitchen is shared by 3 people. The kitchen and living room is fully furnished. Garage storage available.

If you’re afraid of birds this won’t be a good fit. I own a parrot, and he is free flighted when I am home. He can be loud sometimes, he is small, friendly, and occasionally lives up to his name, Megabyte.

The three of us(males) + Megabyte are currently in our late twenties to early thirties. We’re all pretty easy going and decent at communicating. I’m a student at the U of C while the other two are both tradesmen. I keep the house filled with a fair amount of plants. We’re looking for someone clean(does their dishes within the day and uses the house chore chart), easy going, pays the rent on time, and has similar working hours or is in bed before midnight. Most us get up around 7-8am. Ideally we’re looking for a student or young professional who is experienced with living with roommates, and doesn’t drink( we’re not religious we just prefer sober roommates). We’re renting this house till the end of the winter semester so the end of May 2025. Ideally you would stay here till the end of the lease.
