Looking to rent out a room as of September 1st (earliest) or mid September (ideal) in a new house I just bought (moving in late August) in the Olympic View/Latoria/Royal Bay area.

The room is just shy of 10x10’ (9’11“ x 9’10“), has a good sized closet, and you’d have your own bathroom, although would also function as the guest bathroom if people were over. Room is available furnished (queen size bed frame, mattress, & nightstand) or unfurnished. Street parking. Utilities included in rent, no lease required. House is brand new (built 2023), will be fully furnished and stocked, has a heat pump for temperature control, laundry and a deck/backyard. You’re welcome to use kitchen supplies, the living space, and to generally make yourself at home.

In my early 30s, work from home full time in a job in the law enforcement sector. Quiet and introverted by nature but happy to share space with others. Probably most appropriately described as a homebody, I do love exploring on weekends with my 2-year-old Australian Labradoodle. A typical night for me is household chores, cooking dinner, and hanging out in the living space. My ideal Saturday morning is with a book and coffee; my ideal weekend afternoon/evening is meeting up with friends for a hike and a drink before going to bed early. I am tidy, quiet, and love things to be organized. Familiar with having roommates and the lifestyle involved (just sold my townhouse where I had two roommates). Leo, my medium-sized dog, is sweet, relatively well behaved, and generally what you could expect from a dog (barks at the doorbell and loud noises, wags his tail ecstatically when you come home, etc).
