DESCRIPITION OF THE ROOM: One private furnished room in a large house, in the beautiful area of Burk Mountain. Close to transit, 10 minutes to the Skytrain. Corner store 2 minutes away. Very safe, quiet, attractive area with nice neighbors, and many walking trails and parks. Includes PureFibre Gigabit Internet and utilities. Includes shared kitchen, laundry room, full bathroom (shared with another room), and many large closets. You will have adequate room in the fridge and freezers. There is a living room that is shared. Dishwasher, glass top stove, various rotating and stationary air fryers, and plenty of storage space available that could be shared.

Enclosed garage with automatic gate available at $150 extra. Minimum nine (9) month term contract.

The rent for this room actually is $900, but that $500 is a discounted rent in return for helping me in cooking and cleaning the common areas. Not expecting too much. I am ok with cooking for 2 or 3 days, so cooking 3 or 4 times per week would be enough.

Terms & conditions re privacy of everyone, cleanliness, etc. shall be communicated. Household responsibilities are shared. Everyone pays for their own consumables, groceries, personal dishes, etc. Must be covid vaccinated. Rent for month 1st and probably 9th (depends on how you can provide proof of your credit) has to be paid in advance. Please send your email and phone number plus a few proof documents such as your driver’s license, ID, passport, proof of vaccines, a recent utility bill, etc. so I can verify your identity plus (if you don’t mind) links to your most active social media or other things that help me know you and I will arrange a visit later.

I am a single male engineer. I am very clean and like tenants who are the same. I play music after work before 10 PM in the living room. Unfortunately, No drug, guest, and pet is allowed and you cannot smoke in this property or exposed to our neighbors. If you are an occasional smoker I can assign an area in my backyard for you to smoke. We respect our neighbors a lot and I don’t want them feeling anything disturbs them, so I expect all residents to be respectful and considerate of neighbors and other occupants. I might also need a guarantor who would sign the contract.
