Rooms for rent, available starting March anytime through April; This is a shared house with 3 other rooms being rented already. A quiet spacious suburban property in Oshawa, near the Rossland and Wilson intersection. You have your choice between either the main floor room at $800 per month, or the basement room for $650 per month. The Main Floor Room is approx 8.5 ft by 16 ft, plus a closet which is another 2 ft by 4 ft. The Basement Room is approx 9 ft by 11 ft, with a closet that is 2 ft by 3 ft. Besides that, there is plenty of other space around the house for storing things; under the stairs, the laundry room, several hall closets, atop or underneath the deck at the side of the house, as well as 2 outdoor sheds and a lot of backyard space.

The rooms are unfurnished, but the rest of the house is furnished, and there is central air for heat in winter and AC in summer. The 2 bathrooms (one per floor) and the kitchen are shared, and we all pitch in on a shared schedule to tackle household upkeep and make sure the house stays pretty clean (things like garbage take-out, mowing lawn, shovelling snow, sweeping the common areas, etc). It’s a 7 minute walk from a grocery store, a 30min bus route, and a 24-hr convenience store. Parking is available but tight, especially in winter when no street-parking is allowed. The rental agreement can be set up on a 6 month or 1 year term, your choice.
