About the room
Private room for rent Roncesvalles Village. 15 minute walk to Dundas West Subway, 5 minutes to College streetcar and the 504 streetcar is 3 doors away. Easy to get to U of T or anywhere else downtown. Close to all the character (and characters) Roncesvalles has to offer. Utilities included. We are even throwing in the internet. Why not. Right? Shared living space includes entrance, living room, bathroom, kitchen, laundry, front deck and backyard patio. Everyone here is pretty cool. One medical student, one City of Toronto worker and one guy from France who works for Google. Everyone is 30ish. And then there is me. “Not-so-30ish” anymore. I occupy the main floor and I will tazer you if you do not pay your rent. (I might know a few cops) There is a French bulldog who acts as a mascot to the house. Her name is Bijou. She’s cute but I am still trying to get her off coffee and cigarettes. (Did I mention she’s French?) For this reason, No smokers, please.(She will just steal your cigarettes anyhow) And definitely no cats. Bijou would eat it and go on to deny everything (Don’t laugh. It’s happened before) No dogs either. That would just be a turf war. And while we are at it, snakes and tarantulas are a bad idea too. I think sea monkeys might be ok. 1 laundry room in basement How much is this castle in the sky you might ask? $1,200 month all in. Unfortunately, this castle has street parking only. All the usuals:
- Proof of income
- Last 2 pay stubs
- Credit Score
- First and last month’s rent
- Complete Rental Application
- Government issued ID
About the roomies
Hello, My name is Susan. I am the owner and also a property manager so I actually do fix things. I live on the first floor. The room for rent is on the third floor of a house in Toronto’s High Park/ Roncesvalles area. One of the “roomies” is a doctor from Jordan upgrading his medical licensing the other is an employee with the City of Toronto and the third, is a fellow from France who works for Google. We have a pretty good time over here.
