Danica's room

This is a private room in our house, and would be ideal for someone looking to transition towards finding their more permanent place, or simply wanting a base for summer.

Our home is located in Fairfield, a quick walk to Cook St Village, shopping, bus stops and downtown.

We have a large room available with basic furnishings such as; lamps, desk, chair, bookshelf, dresser, rug and a twin bed (you supply own sheets, coverings etc). The room features hardwood floors, a good sized closet, street-facing window (with blackout curtains). Photos shown are from prior to our current roomie…and there’s one of the cat.

Also featured: laundry, internet, shared kitchen and bathroom* (we would need to work around my child’s AM/PM routine, but that’s doable).

Secure indoor bike storage, or space for whatever else you might have is available—within reason in basement area

I work from home most of the time, so looking for an independent, respectful and relatively quiet roomie who is okay doing their own thing with the occasional hang with us if it suits you—no pressure.

In addition, I have one school-age child who is gone school days from roughly 8:30 to around 5:00 every day, though home off-and-on during the weekends (expect some reasonable action /noise around the house, but he is respectful and good about keeping quiet).

We also have a very chilled out cat, so any roomie must be pet-friendly. No additional pets.

We are pretty active, and spend a fair amount of time outdoors, or off doing our own thing and hope our potential roomie is similar.

There will be a few other reasonable things to discuss towards upkeep etc., but if this sounds interesting, feel free to reach out and we can set up a virtual or phone call/tour or I can send more photos.
