About the room
The apartment is located in Winnipeg’s Exchange District. It is a housing co-op, EIA-friendly, and the property managers are generally easy to get in touch with. The apartment is a two-bedroom apartment (I’ll be staying in one of those rooms). The apartment is in good condition, it has a spacious living room with many windows! Paid laundry is available on the main floor of the building. Water is included in the rent, hydro and internet are paid separately.
The apartment is located in close proximity to a variety of coffee shops, bars, and clubs, and is within walking distance from The Forks. If you have a bicycle, there is free bicycle storage in the basement of the building.
You will be a subletter. I’ll pay rent to the property managers directly, and you’ll reimburse me for your half of the rent. Roommates are required to submit an application form, even if they are not intending to become members of the co-op. I can send you an application form upon request.
About the roomies
I am a 28-year-old cisgender asexual woman. I live with my cat, Charles. My cat and I are both laid back and friendly, and we’re looking for a queer or queer-friendly roommate who also likes cats. I am just finishing my Master of Arts degree in Philosophy at the U of M, so if you like to talk about philosophy, I’ll be an excellent roommate for you! I am 420-friendly, I keep my apartment tidy, and I am very quiet. I am fully vaccinated against COVID-19, including the bivalent booster shot, and I continue to wear a mask in crowded public spaces such as grocery stores.
