This 2-story home with a lovely back yard, facing a public park, is a dream to live in. Fully renovated 5 years ago, new appliances, clean yet cozy look and feel, and comes with a 120lb dog (and an occasional cat we often cat-sit). You’re essentially getting to rent a house, but sleep in the basement.

The basement is a fully private unfurnished 638 sqft space with fireplace, private bathroom, soundproof bedroom with walk-in closet, that you can decorate a you wish. You can close the door to the upstairs space if you want, and have a private side entrance.

What we’re really looking for a woman who will want to have a shared sense of ownership and be a friend and share experiences with us.

Nonetheless, you’ll have a separate entrance and the personal space all to yourself with doors closed if you want.

FAQ:

• You’re free to decorate the space as you wish, so I include “before” pics, in addition to what it looks like now.
• Parking: street parking available for 17.70+tax each month (I pay annually)
• TTC: 7 minute walk to either Dufferin or Ossington stations
• Gym: We go to Planet Fitness, a 10 minute walk from home and costs $15/mo
• Amenities: we’re a walk away from grocery stores, Dufferin mall, bakeries, you name it! You honestly don’t need a car in the city :-)
• Room for your bike in the shed, and though the basement is very spacious, you’re absolutely free to use the first floor, porch and back yard as much or as little as you want.

We are two women sharing the 2nd floor space. We are both near 40, like to be physically active, enjoy a chilled life that includes deep and meaningful conversations, occasional shared meals, and frequent travel. We’re not big partiers, don’t do late nights, no drugs or smoking. One of use is vegan, the other just eats healthy. We’re looking for an animal-lover that matches us well.

You would be living in the basement, with your own bathroom. We’d all share the kitchen, laundry, living space and fun times with Buddy the dog. What a bonus! :-)
