About the room
Hey hey! Right now, we have 1 large, fully furnished room downstairs for $750/month, all inclusive, with a $350 security deposit and as of Feb 1st. an unfinished (4 walls, finished ceiling, window and door), fully furnished smaller downstairs room for $600/month, also with a $350 deposit, in our 5 bedroom, 2 bathroom, 1 1/2 kitchen house. We’re located in Capital Hill which is in an older, established, central neighborhood, close to shopping, transit, large parks, U of C, SAIT and downtown. We have a large heated garage that has been/is used for anything from automotive repairs, to chill space to a performance studio. We also have a lot of garden space, a greenhouse, arts and crafts space/supplies and tools for many purposes. All you would need to bring with you is your own personal belongings, we have most everything else you might need. We are looking for likeminded, counter-culture-ish, community orientated folk that need/are looking for a transitional/short term place to stay (up to 18 months,) while enjoying stability, group living and self growth/development. If you:
- practice Self-responsibility, have good communication skills, and are willing to actively participate in house maintenance/up keep.
- enjoy throwing/hosting pot-lucks, workshops and occasional respectful gatherings.
- Are interested in trying partially community style living. We’d love to hear from you. Pets are kinda’ negotiable and we’re flexible around a lot of other things/needs. There is so much more, yet we can speak during the interview process.
