Hannah's room

We are looking for a roommate to fill our current “guest room” in our newly purchased duplex. This room would fit a double mattress along with a desk and has a closet. Please excuse any of our personal belongings in the photos - your room would be empty upon your arrival, we just took these pictures in the midst of moving. Being in Eastern Passage means it’s more quiet than typical city living and its close to many beaches! There is a bus stop less than a five min walk away from the house, the ferry is about a 12 min drive from the house and its about a 25 min drive to downtown Halifax! We have a little backyard - with a deck! There are two bathrooms in the house that will be shared - one upstairs and one downstairs (this one has a shower!) There is an in-unit laundry and dryer, as well as a clothesline. All utilities and internet included.

We are a queer couple with our lovely special needs kitty cat (he has cerebellar hypoplasia aka he is really wobbly). Hannah is a masters student (Sociology) at Dal and Julia is an accountant. We are both home relatively often as Jul works from home and I don’t need to be on campus that often - plus we like to keep Alfie company since he doesn’t like being alone for long. We love to cook (but mostly just like the eating part), watch movies and hangout with friends + family!
