Hello! This SUBLET is for WOMEN ONLY.

I’m leaving for 8 months of travel and am looking for a quiet, clean, FEMALE tenant to sublet my room to while I’m away from August 1st to April 1st (8 months). Dates are a bit flexible, I will accept 6 months stay.

I am ideally looking for a young professional or student. The room is in a share house with 3 other roommates (2 girls and 1 guy). We all get along very well as we are very respectful of shared spaces. We are very independent as we have busy schedules. We prioritize candidates who can come visit the room in person and meet the other roommates.

The room is 740$/month all included (wifi, heating, hot water, etc). Rent is paid cash on the 1st of each month. We also require a cash deposit of 370$, which will be returned when you leave, as long as the room is clean and nothing is broken or stolen. We have quiet hours after 10pm so unfortunately we do not accept anyone who works night shifts.

The house is situated 1 street away from King Edward Station on the Canada Line. It is close to bus lines 25, 15 and 33. We are about 10 minutes walking from Safeway and/or Choices on Cambie. We are also 1 skytrain stop away from Broadway-City Hall (No frills, Whole Foods, Save-On-Foods, Home Depot, Best Buy, etc) and 3 stops from Marine Drive (T&T). We are also walking distance to Queen Elizabeth Park and Hillcrest Community Center.

We ask that candidates come for an in person visit to see the place and meet the roomies. Everyone is quiet, clean and respectful. We are very private people and want to maintain the current balance we have of good energy, relaxed, calm and safe household.
