About the room
Room available for rent, very close to UofT Scarborough (UTSC) and Centennial College Morningside, starting Jan 1st 2025, in a very clean house with quiet roommates. Looking for a mature student or professional with similar lifestyle.
Room is located in the main (ground) floor of a detached house, with a great view to the beautiful backyard. Shared powder room beside the room and private full washroom in the basement. The room is fully furnished (twin bed with drawers below, desk, office chair, chest drawer, shelves and closet), it comes with full set of bedding (2 bedsheet sets, pillow, comforter), and the rent includes all utilities and high speed internet. You’ll also have access to kitchen (including appliances, pots, pans, cooking utensils, dishes and cutlery, dishwasher, fridge, freezer and pantry space) which will save you a couple hundred dollars by not having to order takeout every day. It also includes access to full laundry, including soap, bleach, etc.
There’s a professional cleaner that comes twice a month to clean all common spaces, including washrooms.
This is a 2500sq ft, 3 bedroom + 2.5 washroom house, and it will only be shared by 3 people, including you. I occupy another room in the upper floor, and I make sure that everything is clean and well cared. There will be another roommate in the second bedroom of the upper floor.
We are in a quiet street, 5 minutes walking distance from UTSC and less than 10 minutes from Centennial Morningside.
Available for 4/8/12 months (1/2/3 school semesters) stay. First month and deposit required. Price is for single occupancy and includes EVERYTHING, no other fees.
About the roomies
I (50M) am a IT professional, who works downtown 4 days a week. Very active, when I’m not jogging, biking or skating, I’ll probably be working on my vegetable garden or cooking. I love playing board games (I have a collection of 400+ games).
I speak English and Spanish and I had many newcomers staying at my place over the years, so I have experience with helping people taking their first steps in the country and how to navigate a big city like Toronto. Feel free to ask me any questions, even if my place is not a good match for you, I can probably put you in touch with other people renting rooms in other areas.
