Hannah's room

Beautiful apartment in the heart of little Italy. The room is around 10ft by 10ft, has a spacious closet, big west facing window - so nice sun in the winter, and a fire escape. It can fit a double bed nicely with a small desk.

Living room and kitchen are already furnished by myself. It includes extra counter space, extra kitchen storage, coffee machine, kettle, microwave, dining table, couch, coffee table, TV and many plants.

There’s in unit laundry, a shower and tub, front closet for shoes and coats, a fridge and freezer and a coil surface electric stove.

• I’m quite unattached to most of the furnishings in the living room, as they were free/cheap, and I’m super open to changing things up!

The unit has AC and heating. Gas and water are included in the rental price, hydro and internet are extra — around 60-80 dollars a month. The room is available with a flexible move in date starting August 1st.

It’s just me. I’m 24 years old and I am studying math at Carleton university and am in my last year of my studies. I enjoy a clean living space and am happy to create cleaning / chore schedule so that we can keep our shared spaces tidy. I do my best to clean up after myself when Im leaving an area, however I sometimes get distracted and forget to. I am a-okay with being asked to do my dishes or deal with food or whatever it may be, and I appreciate being reminded :) I love plants and gardening. I have a collection of tropical plants that I enjoy tending to. I also love learning about native plants to Ontario and this region, as well as growing vegetables and fruits. If I had access to a garden here in Ottawa, I would probably spend hours everyday tending to it. I would describe myself mainly as an introvert. I love my time alone, whether it be reading books, the news, listening to podcasts or checking on my plants. I do however love to spend time with people, have fun conversations and hangout and would love to be friends with my roommate. I do enjoy a night out with friends for games, dinner or whatever to relax, and will have friends over sometimes for dinner, movie nights and the occasional get-together. My love for plants extends to the natural wild life, so I love to go for hikes as well and/or jogs through the natural areas of the ottawa/gatineau region.
