About the room
Roommate required for period of February 1st, through the end of August 2025, with the possibility to extend another year.
Quiet 3 bedroom apartment on second floor, shared living room, kitchen and bathroom. Currently 2 residents, myself and one female. Bus route immediately available, short walking distance to uptown area and communal parking around buildings, multiple vehicles require extra coverage. Smoking areas outside, laundry rooms available onsite, $5.50 per total cycle.
Room will be available to move in February 1st with a security deposit equal to the original cost of 1 months rent when the apartment was first leased ($425). The rent will be $1400 before internet and power bills all divided 3 ways; $1400 rent ($466.67 each), $142.60 internet/wifi ($47.53 each), previous 3 month average power $88, $91, $77 (average range between $25-40 each)
About the roomies
I am a quiet, respectful 39 year old male, slightly social introverted. When not at work I tend to keep to myself, and am very respectful of others personal space in sharing a living space. I love football, gaming, music and anime/comics, though always open to learn about others interests. We (current roommate and myself) like to keep our shared living spaces clean, appreciate low noise levels and respect one another’s privacy/personal space.
House Rules
- No pets.
- No smoking, etc indoors.
- No partying, no gatherings or guests outside of required assistance, such as moving.
- No screaming/shouting or “raging”, be mindful of overly loud sounds and be considerate of others living in the same space.
- Be mindful of cooking and with overly pungent scents. Some roommates have sensitivities or may have allergies.
- Footwear belongs at the entrance, not inside
- Keep track of one’s laundry card usage, do not overspend money that others have deposited in.
- Be mindful of power consumption. We all share this burden together.
- Respect each other’s privacy and safety.
- Clean up after yourself and do not leave things to be cleaned by others.
- Keep the shared living spaces clear and safe from hazards such as, biological substances, fire, allergens, etc.
