Jessica's room

Hey there! I have one private rooms available for rent this upcoming summer term. Looking to rent to students primarily! Our place in Lakefield is quaint and quiet in a respectful neighbourhood. All your shopping needs are a 10-15 minute walk (or 2-minute drive) away. I have listed it as unfurnished because the rooms are not totally filled, I have furniture that you can borrow to make up for what you may be lacking.

With respect to the rooms and decorating: the world is your oyster! You are free to decorate your room and shared bathroom as well as the basement living room as long as it doesn’t damage the house irreparably.

With respect to appliances our kitchen is fully furnished, table and chairs, stove, dishwasher and microwave (there is one in the basement too). Both living rooms have a communal mini fridge and couches, chairs, tables. We have laundry in house. Our bathrooms both have baths and showers. We have a small partially fenced backyard as well as a deck coming off of the kitchen. We have a single car garage for storage of bikes and anything you would want with you but not in your room. Our driveway can fit 3 cars across.

The room in question does not have a lock and key door but one can be installed upon request of the new renter.

Currently, it is myself (student) and two working adult renters in their early 30’s (full time). They keep to themselves and tend to be busy at work most of the time, but are friendly. I enjoy the occasional night off from studies but tend to part out of the house instead of in. The house is smoke and harsh chemical-free due to allergies. I really value communication and would like there to be an open and honest dialogue between housemates. If you have any questions or concerns I would love to be able to address those so everyone can be as comfortable as possible and set up for success in our space.
