You have your own furnished (double bed, desk, dresser) NE facing bedroom and 4 piece ensuite bathroom in an upper-unit stacked townhome backing onto Centrepointe Park! Both bedrooms are upstairs, and are separated by their respective ensuites and the utility room. Common areas are on the main floor and will be shared with the owner (myself) and my partner (Paul). The monthly rate is all-inclusive.

By walking it’s 6 minutes to Baseline station and 3 Communauto cars, and 15 minutes to Algonquin College and College Square. No parking available but neighbours can be asked if they’d be willing to rent out their spot (not guaranteed).

We’re a quiet couple in their mid twenties. I’m a FT hybrid employee at uOttawa, and my partner (Paul) has a FT in-person engineering job. Weekdays we’re usually preoccupied with our jobs until 6pm. We can be social, but we don’t party; we like the house to be a place where a few people can come over from time to time. Overall we’re best described as homebodies. We like to get to know our housemate(s). We don’t have to be best friends but it’s nice to play board games or watch TV together from time to time. Lastly, I have a high standard for cleanliness. Your room is your space, but it is important to me that you keep it clean. The majority of the communal parts of the house get cleaned by us, but you’d still be responsible for helping (un)load the dishwasher/dish rack, etc.

We have 3 lovely animals: a 7 year old Devon Rex cat, a 5 year old Standard Poodle, and a 3 year old Oriental Shorthair Mix cat. All are low-shedding breeds, and each has a unique personality. We’re looking for someone that likes animals, or at the very least is good around them. A bonus is if you’re willing to do minimal cat care if we go on a trip and you’re going to be around! Given our square footage and number of animals already, we’re looking for someone without pets.
