Nathan's room

This is a recently renovated, semi-private living space (entire basement) in a detached home complete with private bathroom, large living room and den. The house is a large, air-conditioned house with three bedrooms and a yard. There are currently three rooms rented separately with each on separate levels. Bus stop a few houses down and is a short walk to downtown. Very close to lakeside park (Google it, it is a fantastic oasis) and the iron-horse trail. Many additional parks in the neighbourhood. This is a non-smoking home. The upstairs (private with small living room - pictures not included) and room on main level (pictures not included) are currently occupied and looking for the right person to move into the basement. There is a large shared kitchen and two shared living rooms on the main floor. Shared laundry is in the basement. Pictures are of the basement, main floor and laundry.

There is currently two very respectful people living in the house: one young professional/recent graduate (main floor) and one mature artist (upstairs). One room-mate does use cannabis (outside only) and there is a service dog living in the house (cannot live with other pets, so no additional pets allowed).

I, the landlord, lived in the house for 5 years and lived with one of the existing tenants. I moved in with my partner and am no longer living at the house, but I am nearby. I come by frequently to access storage and do maintenance as needed. All friendly individuals welcome (no couples). Open to short term-rental. Preference given to those with a character reference, past landlord reference, police background check, and proof of income or employment.
