With our contemporary furniture, it feels very warm, cozy and comfortable. This inner city home is conveniently located minutes to downtown, well established schools, many walking paths, parks (Sandy beach/Riverpark & North Glenmore Park), grocery stores, coffee shops, fitness studios and some of Calgary’s best pubs and restaurants in Marda Loop, Mission and other great Calgary neighborhoods. It is the perfect oasis if you work downtown and appreciate a peaceful area that is protected from the hustle of downtown but still within walking distance to cafes and bars.When you step in the front door, you’ll find yourself in the heart of the house. This bright and open area features the cozy living room, dining area and kitchen, all with hard wood floors. Opposite of the dining area, you will find a hallway, leading to the modernized bathroom and three bedrooms, which all include built-in closets. The biggest bedroom is the master bedroom including a King sized bed. The other two bedrooms are being used as an office space as well as a baby room.From the kitchen, walk five steps down to the mud room, leading to the back entrance of the house. One of these bedrooms has been turned into the guest bedroom with a King size bed. The other bedroom is a storage room, that will not be accessible by the renters. Another door in the basement leads to the mechanical room with an additional freezer and a front load laundry machine and dryer.One of the best parts of this gorgeous full lot is the fully fenced west facing backyard, where you will have plenty of sunshine and a big open green space to enjoy Calgary’s beautiful blue skies. This outside garden oasis is complete with a BBQ and a big eating area, that can be accessed through the front of the house as well as the mud room. Sit back and relax in the two red chairs, while looking at the apple and cherry trees as well as all the other beautiful flower beds. At the back of the yard, there is also a double-car garage with a large built-in workbench. There will be availability to park one car as well as bikes. Otherwise there is lots of street parking in front of the bungalow too.We are looking to rent our home for one short term rental from March 1st - June 30th, 2025 as we will be traveling during this time.
