Hello! I’m starting a new chapter with a job in the city after being displaced by the Jasper wildfires last year. It’s been quite a journey—I’m currently in Germany, but I’ll be returning to Canada by May 24, with my new role beginning on May 27, 2025. I’m looking for a furnished, month-to-month rental starting June 1 (or shortly after a viewing), as I begin to rebuild and eventually settle more permanently in the city.

I lived in Canada for over 8 years prior to the fires, so while I’ll be rebuilding my social network from the ground up and wouldn’t mind meeting new people, I also deeply respect everyone’s privacy and personal space.

Ideally, I’m looking for a place that’s easy to commute to work from—I’ll be working at 1324 17 Ave SW, so I’d prefer something within walking distance or a short (max 30-minute) transit ride. I’m open to different living arrangements and am hoping for a peaceful, respectful home with a welcoming atmosphere.

I’m also a nature lover, so if your place is in a quiet neighborhood near parks—or has a backyard you’re open to sharing—that would be a dream (but not essential!).

I’m tidy, easygoing, and always happy to contribute to a positive household environment. I’d be grateful to use kitchen essentials like plates, glassware, and cooking utensils while I get re-established.
