My husband and I are young professionals moving from Germany to Canada and will be arriving in Toronto as permanent residents on the 29th of April. I work remotely as a psychologist for a UK-based clinic, and my husband is currently job-seeking as a TESOL instructor in Canada. We are tidy, responsible tenants who don’t smoke, don’t have pets. We’re looking for a short-term rental (1 month as a start) while we search for a long-term place in Toronto. The most important factor for us will be the convenience factor of the room (proximity to street car and subway stops, safety of the location, and cleanliness of shared spaces).
