Hi, I’m Tanya. I’m a 20 year old student at the University of Calgary studying sciences. I am very neat and tidy with my surroundings: I wash my dishes every day, take out the trash, vacuum, sweep the floors, etc., mainly because having a dirty room or house is extremely stressful for me.

I prefer to keep to myself. I study often, mostly at school or in my room. I’m not too loud. I don’t party, smoke, nor do I drink often (so having a roommate who doesn’t do these either is preferred), but sometimes I go out with my friends. I have a job at Market Mall, so in between classes and long labs, I’ll be at work. I also volunteer at a hospital once or twice a week. I read, paint, write for fun during my free time. If you need someone who can be quiet and mainly keep to themselves, I’d be a pretty good roommate, but I can also be your friend if you’d like (this is the preferred option, lol).

I am strictly looking for a girl roommate who is preferably the same age as me or at least near it. It’d be great if you’re a student too. If you are outgoing, like to hang out with people, but then enjoy some quiet time when you get home, I think I’d be the perfect roommate.

FYI — I am only looking to rent between May- end of August, as I plan on returning to on-campus residence. I didn’t want to have to stay in school during the summer, as I am required to take 2 classes to be considered a full time student. However, in fall, I will return to a full course load, and will move back into residence.
