I am a 45 year old male and I am a full time student at Durham College. I will be looking for a room rental or apartment with 1-2 other people in the Brooklin (or Whitby) area. I would like somewhere ideally as close to the College Oshawa campus as possible (2000 Simcoe st. North).. Move in date would be January 1st as I am giving my notice in the month of December.

A bit about me. I live quietly and simply and keep to myself most of the time, but also love having conversations with people and forming new friendships. I am an early riser and require quiet at night and ideally a house that is calm during the day for studying. I am looking for others who have the same needs or share similar lifestyle, which is essentially a peaceful and quiet household. Same thing with cleanliness. I am very clean and will not leave dishes around or things unclean and would want the same from those I live with. I used to work in health care as a PSW and I am switching careers due to my some physical health issues (lower back) and its time for a change. p.s. I am listing $1300 but that would be the maximum I would consider paying with a housemate or group for an apartment. and it would have to be a really good place. I am willing to pay $800-900 for a room in the Whitby area give or take but I will pay as high as $1000 for a room in Brooklin or $1300 for shared apartment if it met the needs.
