Jalene

My name is Jalene, I’m 24, and I’m looking for housing in Kamloops! I am currently finishing up my degree in Resource and Environmental Management at SFU and have landed a vegetation management lead position based out of Kamloops. It is a contract position from May 1st - October 31st with a possibly of extension, so I am hoping to find month to month housing either for April 15th or May 1st.

My hobbies include lifting weights, reading - often fantasy and horror, listening to music - anything folk, rock, blues, metal, country 🙂 I also like to cook, which means I like keeping a really clean and tidy kitchen. And generally exploring - I’m hoping to camp and hike and road trip around the Kamloops area this summer, it’s an area I have not lived in before!

My new job is 10 days on, 4 days off, with lots of work out of town. My mom also lives in Kelowna, so I am expecting to visit her a few times during the summer as well, so I am not expecting to be around very often. I’ll be a great roommate to have - often gone, but when I am around, I’m friendly, non-confrontational, and eager to have a laugh.
