Alex Granados

Hello! I’m Alex (he/him, 22) and my fiancè is Tristan (they/them, 23). We are both trans, vegetarian, AuDHD and disabled. We come with a lovely cat, Bowie, who is fixed and gets along well with other animals.

We’re looking to share a space preferably with another couple, or up to two roommates. We are both on ODSP with a monthly rent budget of $1000, with some flexibility up to $1200 depending the unit’s amenities like laundry and wifi. Tristan is an ambulatory wheelchair user so we’d love somewhere accessible if possible. They can also use a cane to do a small amount of stairs.

We thrive best in a quiet, low stimulation environment, but we have no issue with guests or small parties if we’re given a heads up. Most of the time we’re very introverted, but would love to develop friendships with housemates!

I am a fulltime social work student at McMaster University with an internship as a counsellor. I love to paint, play boardgames, do research and talk about social justice. Tristan likes playing video games, singing/listening to music and acting. They are a homebody, but looking for volunteer/job opportunities in the community. We are both 420 friendly, as Tristan smokes as well, but prefer to be in a house with little alcohol.
