Pedro & Sofia

I am a Mechatronics Engineer and an incoming MSc student at the University of Toronto Mississauga. My wife, an Electronics Engineer, and I are looking for a basement (or a nice room), preferably with a private bathroom in Mississauga or Toronto if close to UofT or public transit. The master’s is a 2-year program, but we can rent for a shorter period (12 months).

We are both Brazilian, and in the past, we have lived in Canada (Edmonton, AB), the UK (University of Oxford), and Switzerland. We speak English, Portuguese, Spanish, and some French and German. In Edmonton, we rented a basement in a family house, which was great!

We are quiet and enjoy reading, cooking, watching movies, and hiking. We prefer a more tranquil and family-oriented house as we don’t like loud noises or parties. I like to keep my house and room clean and organized. I enjoy cooking, so I can happily prepare and share some recipes with you. If you need any help around the house, we are also happy to help.
