I am looking for a place to stay with no drama or added stressors. I don’t smoke, drink, or do drugs of any kind; and so I would prefer not to live with anyone who parties regularly, or smokes (cannabis or tobacco) in the house. I am friendly and energetic (happy to play boardgames or hang out and watch a movie from time to time), but can also be low-key and like to take space to quietly play my guitar and unwind. I can cook well (willing to share a meal or two with roomies if there’s an interest in doing so), and I’m very handy (I can help out when things need fixing). I am great with landscaping and snow removal as well. I’m going back to school soon, with full financial backing; so my ability to pay monthly rent is dependable and secure. I’m a praying Christian; and have an 18 year old son living with his mom in Burlington. He’s heading off to University in the fall. He will NOT be living with me, nor staying over night. I am GREAT with hypoallergenic dogs (many people have actually referred to me as “the dog whisperer” after watching me work with my son’s dogs), but I do have dog and cat allergies, so I cannot live with non-hypoallergenic animals. I am kind and friendly (people say I am easy to talk with), but I really can’t handle being pulled into people’s drama, so if you happen to have a complicated life, or difficult relationships that you are managing, we may not be a good fit.
I rent workshop space in Burlington right now, I’m willing to pay higher rent than listed if it includes exclusive access to a garage or workshop space that I can utilize for projects.
