Hi there! I’m a german geologist moving to Quebec in 2025. I’m enrolled as a PhD-student at Laval university and will do research in the far north of Quebec. I’m a very curious and open minded person and I love to meet new people and visit unknown places. You will find me outside very often, roaming the landscape and the wilderness, it kinda comes with being a geologist, I just love a good hike and the exploration. But I also appreciate a nice evening with friends and self made food and just interesting topics to talk about. I can be quite nerdy when it comes to science and can go on for hours about this stuff. I used to teach physics and chemistry at high school level and I enjoy it quite a bit if I can share some insights. Btw, the kitchen is also a place I feel at home, although I treat it a bit as a laboratory. That means I like trying new recipees and share them with my flatmates. So far, I didn’t get any complaints. I used to live in a shared flat during my studies and I am used to the dynamic. Hope to meet you soon!
