Zoe Watson

Hi! My name is Zoe (they/them). I’m a recent grad from UBC, hunting for solid work after graduation. I’ve been living in the States, but given recent events I’m looking to move back up to Canada in mid January - early February.

Why I’m a great roommate: I’m friendly, happy to help around the house / run errands, and I’m pretty decent at hanging shelves and other handy chores. I’m fastidious about paying rent on time and keeping roommate agreements. I’m a good cook and baker, (my old college roommates still ask for my strawberry-banana bread) and I enjoy sharing meals together. I keep my space clean, and believe in deep cleaning once a month or so. I don’t think of myself as quiet - but my hobbies are? On a typical Friday night I’m enjoying a book, sculpting, or researching. Saturdays morning usually find me heading out to Zumba class, a play or farmers market.

Why you might not want to room with me: I’m looking for a room to let for myself and my cat. She’s very sweet and get’s along well with dogs - but shouldn’t be around other cats due to a medical issue. I don’t drink, smoke, or do drugs and I’m looking to room in a smoke and drug free environment. No judgment! Just can’t stand the smell. I’m looking for hybrid work so I’d need a quiet place to work at home for part of the week.
