I’m a neurodivergent and queer bundle of joy and angst starting a new job in Thunder Bay and looking for a furnished room rental to get me through your wild winter (at least) while I get my elsewhere-in-Ontario ducks in a row.

When not working, I’m mostly a homebody. My hobbies are indicative of someone twice my age (Thanks, COVID). I am tidy, respectful, and quiet, but far from boring. I am particularly skilled at stress-baking and online rabbit-holing and if you have a dog, I’m likely to also display my “mom” side. Cats and I are equally suspicious–but accepting–of each other.

I will be on call 24/7 with many overnight shifts, so a regular schedule/routine is not my new jam. Kitchen and bathroom use will be irregular at best. I will also wear a uniform, so unrestricted access to laundry in the home is a must. I have a small car and will require parking as well. I am randomly drug-tested for work, so I am not cannabis-friendly; I take no chances–even with the smell on my clothes.
