Moving to the island to pursue schooling in January. Looking for a comfortable, clean, safe house to call home for the next year (and hopefully longer!). Ideally with friendly roommates that I can get to know and enjoy good conversation with. Roughly, but not strictly, I’m looking for a medium sized unfurnished room, in a house that has access to some outdoor space (garden, deck, etc ), accessible to downtown Victoria. My budget is flexible for the right space and people! I don’t have a car currently. I’m vegetarian. No pets but happy to get to know yours. Familiar with living with roommates and navigating communication and boundaries. I typically meal prep on weekends and can be flexible. In my down time I enjoy being outdoors, exploring my new city, reading, arts and crafts, finding neighborhood cats to pet, and baking! I spend a good amount of time on my own to recharge, but love a friendly face and a good adventure. I’m optimistic and understanding. I come from a big family so I’m used to sharing and compromises.
