My name is Ann. I’m a 68-year-old woman looking for a kind and welcoming roommate who has a room available in a home or wants to team up with others to find a space together.

I am quiet, respect others’ space and love animals. I do smoke but only outside. Additionally, my daughter will be stop by for a visit or I’ll be out at her place from time to time.

I worked hard throughout my life as a single mother, raising two children while managing several jobs. For the past 20 years, I have owned my own cleaning business and am now retired, collecting my CPP and OAS.

I love tuning into the news and watching movies. I particularly enjoy comedies and action movies. I’ve been on quite a journey trying to find a safe place to land as a senior due to ageism, and I’m feeling a bit exhausted. I am currently on the Housing Registry List, but the waiting list is extremely long and there are no updates. I’m hoping to connect with another senior or community that understands these hurdles without judgment.
