I’m a new immigrant and am going to be looking for work. Im from Pakistan originally but I’ve previously lived in New York for two years and then in the UAE for a bit for work, both have been with roommates and they’re still some of my closest friends. I’d love to explore the city and make new friends, however, I am only interested in rooming with other women/femmes/non-binary folk. I am very clean because I am allergic to all manner of things and am relatively quiet. I could have the occasional friend over but I don’t do noise or parties. I love to cook and watch shows and movies, go to the theatre, and play boardgames. I’m looking to build community here so would love to make friends with my roommate, and/or cowork.
