Hey future roommates!

My name is Dennis, I’m 36, originally from Germany, and I’m on the hunt for a cozy room in a shared apartment starting February 2025. I promise I come with good vibes, many years of flat-sharing experience, and absolutely no loud party habits! For now I’m spending a few months in sunny California with my friends from home.

A bit about me: I’ve been a producer/photographer for over 18 years, working in the creative industry. At the same time I try to keep busy working in hospitality - keeps my mind cool and I somehow can’t live in another city without working as a waiter. It’s weird, I know. I neither drink nor do dr*gs and since I’m super chill with the alcohol thing on others, I’d prefer a home without the use of any substances (so no awkward beer peer pressure here), and while I love hanging out with my friends, I prefer chill conversations and laughter over wild parties. Peace and quiet? Yes, please!

I’m all about balance—I enjoy spending time with people, but I also respect personal space and privacy. Cleanliness and order are second nature to me. Honestly, I find cleaning almost therapeutic! My free days are split between outdoor adventures (I’ll be hiking up a mountain or cycling through the city).

I’ve lived with friends from university as well as total strangers in various cities—and somehow, I’ve managed to stay on good terms with all of them. If that doesn’t speak to my adaptability, I don’t know what does!
