Allow me to introduce myself to you.

My name is Alex. I am a working professional in my 30’s looking to find somewhere to live long-term. Currently living too far from everything and needing to be closer since I work downtown. I can provide excellent references and have been renting a room in Sooke for the past 5 years. I work part time as well as casually sell art or do pet sitting (in their house). I also have guaranteed monthly income through disability.

Looking for a LARGE ROOM for rent. I have an almost king size bed and a lot of clothes etc. The room can be partially furnished or unfurnished. No more than $1100 including utilities, laundry and wifi. I intend to keep my mattress at least. IDEALLY there is a yard or patio, a living room and maybe some storage available or permission to put a tiny shed up somewhere. Shared washroom and common areas ok.

I am a huge believer in practicing honouring space, the art of checking in, open honest communication, mindfulness and meditation which leads to putting these things into practice in all aspects of life. Really looking to create a warm cozy home environment that reflects this. I’m not in a rush to move as I’m looking for our forever home ❤️ And yes I will have opinions on decorating but I can be flexible 😊

I’m non-binary trans (agender leaning but still learning) and in my 30’s. My pronouns are they/them. I’m autistic as well as ADHD. Furthermore, it’s important to mention that I am invisibly disabled and live with chronic health issues, chronic pain and chronic fatigue. I usually try to keep things clean by doing a whole house cleaning at least 1x week. If I’m not able to do chores due to a flare up I will find a way to show appreciation and compensate you🙏

I have a variety of hobbies and interests. For example, baking and occasionally cooking (yes I will feed you), creating art (I have way too many supplies and I’m happy to share), taking photos constantly lol, binging shows or anime, writing, reading, creating art and sometimes dance!💕 I also enjoy spending time outdoors. I’m very introverted but also enjoy being social. However, I will usually always say good morning or sometimes ask about your day. I am fiercely loyal and independent. According to friends, I’m also funny as heck and I am known for my eclectic style. I really love fashion/aesthetics and yes I will help you vamp up your style if you want 😉
